Who is the ROC

The Redeem Our Children Foundation was founded by Jessica Stern Foster with the help of her parents, Jim & Melanie, in 2018. Their goal and mission is to:

Rescue, Redeemed,  and Restore Trafficked Persons!

While we have worked with government,  police and private resourced rescue teams. Some our our team members work actively in rescuing Trafficked Persons! Our main focus is the aftercare healing plan for trafficked persons.

Our 1st Trafficking experience was in 1988,  when Jessica Stern Foster was kidnapped from her home in Richmond, Virginia (USA). She was held for ransom, held for five days, and sold at auction to an undercover officer. God supernaturally rescued Jessica from being human trafficked!

Jessica's parents were uniquely equipped to take her home so she could be redeemed and restored to a life worth living! 

“For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal,” declares the Lord, “because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’” Jeremiah 30:17

In 2018, Jessica had already worked in the inner cities of Baltimore and DC with children and youth. She knew it was time to start going a little deeper. In 2019, Jessica and her team, along with her parents started working openly and publicly against Human Trafficking.

We encourage you to reach out to your local law enforcement or Hope For Justice. We are NOT law enforcement and DO NOT have jurisdiction to remove persons from dangerous situations. 

Our main ministry focus is the aftercare and healing for trafficked persons! We have a team of psychologists, ministers, and medical professionals who focus on the healing and spiritual health of persons who have been trafficked through Biblical precepts. 

The ROC team is currently working to help raise funds for the  73rd facility/ transitional housing for Trafficked Persons!
